Bradley Lohman is a self taught photographer centered in Grand Rapids, MI. Since 2017, he has experimented in a variety of styles ranging from landscapes and portraiture, to food photography and weddings. Before photography, Bradley was a watercolor painter for over a decade. In his own work, Bradley's focus shifts to the surreal, leaning into imagery inspired by gothic horror, the fantastical, and the unknown. "I've always been drawn to dark aesthetics, and am inspired by horror movies. The art and imagery behind these films have always drawn me in, specifically when practical effects are used."

Not one to stick to rigidity, Bradley instead opts to have the creative process lead him rather than vice versa. He finds inspiration in the momentary shifts and surprises that can come while in the midst of a project and leans into the sway and pull rather than fight against it. "When shooting, I never like planning too heavily. Discovering something in the moment of shooting or any creative endeavor feels great and encourages me to keep pressing on. Happy mistakes are also a part of my creative process. Bradley studied at Kendall College, and is one of the co-creators of EggPrize, a traveling art vending machine, which has resulted in over 225,000 individual pieces of art being created and vended.
